You may recognize Tanumi from Season 11 of The Voice Australia, but his journey in music started well before that. With over a decade of experience in the heart of Hollywood’s music industry, Tanumi brings a deep well of knowledge, passion, and real-world insight to every session.

His teaching spans all ages and stages—from young beginners to adults pursuing professional careers. Tanumi offers private singing lessons, A&R management, instrumental coaching, songwriting, music composition, and movement coaching specifically tailored for singers and bands, helping artists develop both their sound and stage presence.

As the creative force behind Oh La La Cabaret, Tanumi has brought his unique vision and movement coaching to the forefront of live performance. He has a deep passion for storytelling through music and movement, has propelled the journeys of both emerging and established artists.

From editing and directing his own music videos to collaborating internationally, Tanumi has worked with artists such as Whitney Maherfrom The Voice US Season 23, Co/Creative Direction & Choreography on music video by Erick Morillo and Kylee Katch, collaborated with Karmic (USA)—helping them elevate their stage presence and artistic direction.

With 17 years of teaching experience, Tanumi has worked with celebrated artists like Violet Chachki and renowned dance institutions such as Debbie Reynolds Studios and Brent Street to name a few. A choreographer at heart, Tanumi has learned from industry legends including Tina Landon, Brian Friedman, Kevin Maher, Kenny Ortega, and many more who’ve helped inspire his unique style.

Tanumi believes that bringing a creative vision to life through choreography begins with honoring the artist. He focuses on drawing out the truest version of each performer, giving them a voice in the process and encouraging authentic, expressive movement.
